Antermont

Antermont stands on the Karer Pass, also known as Passo Carezza, between the Rosengarten and Latemar mountains. The Kompatscher family has welcomed guests here since 2000, bringing a bar, restaurant, pizzeria and eight guest rooms together in one house. Its position near Lake Carezza makes it a possible meal stop when combining a visit to the lake with walking or skiing around the pass.

The restaurant brings South Tyrolean specialities together with Trentino cooking and familiar classics. Homemade dumplings, schnitzel and spinach-filled Schlutzkrapfen are among the dishes presented by the house. The selection also includes pappardelle with game ragout and a platter of cheese, speck, salami and ham. Apple strudel comes with vanilla ice cream, vanilla sauce and cream. Local wine and draught beer accompany the food.

Pizza has a separate place in the offer, with freshly baked bases and toppings ranging from a classic Margherita to spicy salami and more generously topped specialities. Guests can sit in the indoor dining area or choose the sunny terrace, with the surrounding Dolomites forming the backdrop. This combination gives a group a choice between regional dishes and pizza within the same establishment.

Table reservations are accepted by telephone for evening meals. A large customer car park sits directly outside, and the restaurant entrance is adapted for guests with disabilities. Hiking paths, mountain bike trails and ski slopes begin around the house, connecting the restaurant with the outdoor activities of the Carezza area.
