Restoran Spinnaker

Spinnaker occupies the eastern side of the breakwater at Marina Kaštela's sailing centre in Kaštel Gomilica. Opened in 2018, it combines a contemporary dining room with outdoor seating and views across Kaštela Bay. The setting makes the water part of the meal, while the kitchen approaches Dalmatian ingredients through both traditional preparations and more modern combinations. Local fishermen supply fresh fish, and the restaurant also works with seasonal produce, meat and dishes suited to vegetarian or gluten-free diets. The menu offers several ways to explore that approach. Seafood pasta combines smoked mussels, prawns and smoked mackerel, while black cuttlefish risotto comes with squid carpaccio, sea fennel and Parmesan crisps. Gnocchi pair scampi with blue crab, and white fish is served with potato and tarragon purée, mussel cream and fish jus. Octopus cooked under a peka brings the cooking back to a familiar Dalmatian method, accompanied by potatoes, tomatoes, rosemary and olives. Meat choices include beef steaks, slow-roasted chicken and a burger with raclette cheese and black garlic mayonnaise. A chef-selected tasting menu provides another route through the kitchen, with optional wine pairings. Croatian and international bottles accompany the food, including the local Crljenak wine. Beyond individual tables, Spinnaker and the sailing centre arrange private celebrations, weddings, business gatherings and regatta events. Guests arriving by boat can arrange to moor beside the restaurant, and restaurant guests have free parking. Tables can be booked through the restaurant's reservation service or by telephone.
