Hôtel des Roches Restaurant

Rue de Vresse 93, 5550 Membre-sur-Semois

The restaurant at Hôtel des Roches is in Membre-sur-Semois, making it a particularly local option for a stay in the village. The hotel retains an older Ardennes setting overlooking the Semois, and its restaurant combines a general seasonal menu with a distinctive midweek offer: Wednesday service includes Vietnamese and Thai dishes. This gives the address a different emphasis from the many purely regional dining rooms elsewhere in the valley. The kitchen says it uses fresh, seasonal products. Lunch and dinner are both offered, with published service from 11:30 to 15:00 and from 18:00 to 22:00, seven days a week. Those separate kitchen windows are worth noting if you are planning to eat between activities; the bar remains open more broadly through the day, but that does not mean the full menu is served continuously. There is room for around fifty diners indoors and forty on the terrace, and private restaurant bookings can be discussed with the team. An outside table puts the meal in the riverside setting when the weather is suitable. For a larger gathering or the Wednesday cuisine, reserve and ask what will be available on your particular date. The hotel also describes its position beside the river as a starting point for exploring the surrounding natural area. The restaurant's address is 93 Rue de Vresse in Membre. Its direct telephone and email are the simplest way to arrange a table and check current service details before setting out.

Le Comptoir de Bernard

Orchimont · Breakfast · Lunch · Dinner

Example photo of the cuisine — not photographed at this venue Augustinus Martinus Noppé / Pexels

Rue du Château 64, 5550 Orchimont

+32477206726

Le Comptoir de Bernard is a small restaurant and brasserie in Orchimont, with cooking rooted in the surrounding Ardennes. Bernard works with local producers and artisans, and the restaurant describes direct, short supply chains as central to its approach. The scale is intimate: the dining page lists ten places inside and sixteen outside, with a terrace overlooking the surrounding countryside in summer. Its food changes with the time of day. Breakfast brings together bread, pastries, cheese and cold meats, while the brunch adds items such as smoked salmon and omelette. At lunchtime, the published choices include soup, sandwiches, a croque-monsieur, omelettes and a dish of the day. Homemade dessert and ice cream also appear on the menu, making a shorter food stop possible without committing to an evening menu. Dinner follows a different rhythm. A three-course meal is offered by reservation, with the ingredients changing through the seasons. The restaurant gives asparagus in spring, lamb around Easter and festive-season game as examples of that approach. Ask what is planned for your date rather than treating those examples as year-round dishes. The brasserie is also a place to explore Belgian drinks, including regional and Trappist beers, fruit juices and homemade hot chocolate. Published daytime opening is Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30–18:00, with evening visits arranged in advance. The address is 64 Rue du Château in Orchimont; telephone Bernard directly or use the restaurant email to reserve.

Restaurant Villa Olea

Šimuni · Good for children · Parking · Wi-Fi

Šimuni 101, 23251 Šimuni

+38523697439

Restaurant Villa Olea is part of a small family hotel at Šimuni 101, in the fishing village of Šimuni on the island of Pag. The family traces the business's tradition to 2001, and the property brings accommodation and a restaurant together in one place. Its character is shaped by that family hospitality and by a coastal setting close to beaches and pine woods. The owners specifically present both the hotel and restaurant as suitable for families with children. There is free parking on the property, useful for visitors arriving from Pag or travelling around the island by car. Wireless internet is available in the shared areas as well as in the guest rooms. Alongside the restaurant, the family operates a boat rental service, giving the place a connection with days spent exploring the surrounding waters. The hotel also offers breakfast as part of its accommodation service. Šimuni lies on the island's southwestern shore, roughly between Pag town and Novalja. It is a fishing settlement with an ACI marina in its sheltered cove, and the local beaches lend themselves to swimming, sunbathing and an unhurried walk. The village makes a quieter setting for a restaurant stop during an island outing. Villa Olea's combination of a family restaurant, a small hotel and boating services suits that setting: visitors can make the meal one part of a broader visit to this stretch of Pag's coast.

Supetarska Draga 321, 51280 Supetarska Draga

+385951965861

More sits by the sea in Gonar, on the western side of Rab between the Kampor and Supetarska Draga bays. The Tariba family's restaurant grew out of a close connection to fishing and has more than forty years of history. Its terrace looks towards the water and nearby islands, making the setting an important part of a leisurely seafood meal. The menu gives shellfish and crustaceans room to take several forms. Scampi can be grilled, prepared buzara-style, served with olive oil and lemon, or cooked in a white-wine sauce. Other dishes highlighted by the restaurant include gratinated scallops, cuttlefish pasta with broad beans, and prawns with corn polenta and truffle. Ask about the day's fish and the available preparations when ordering. An aquarium inside the restaurant reflects the emphasis on marine ingredients. Croatian and international wines accompany the food, while the separate beach bar below offers a more casual setting for drinks and simpler meals. For a seafood dinner, specify the restaurant when arranging a table, particularly if your preference is the upper terrace rather than the bar. More is practical for visitors arriving either by road or by boat. The family provides parking, and its jetty has berths for vessels up to twenty metres. Contact the team before arriving by sea to confirm a suitable berth and the arrangements for your visit. By road, use the Supetarska Draga 321 address and the Gonar location when planning the journey.

Konoba Didova kuća

Šimuni · Fish and seafood · Seating indoors · Seating outdoors

Šimuni 39, 23251 Šimuni

+38523697219

Mon–Sun 13:00–23:00

Konoba Didova kuća occupies a family house in Šimuni, where the terrace remains at the centre of the restaurant's identity. The cooking follows recipes handed down from the island, the Croatian coast and Dalmatia. Fish, skuta curd cheese and prošek are singled out as three ingredients that express the kitchen's character. Homemade pasta, mussels, olive oil, almonds, walnuts, fennel and marinated produce also belong to its food vocabulary. Bread made with olive oil and a selection of bottled wines complete that picture. The building's earlier life was closely tied to food: the family stored wine, hung cured ham, kept Pag cheeses and dried fish here. Today, that history gives the meal a personal setting rather than an anonymous dining room. Lace made by the family's grandmother Mara is displayed inside, linking another island tradition to the table. Guests can reserve by telephone, email or an online booking service, and card payment is accepted. Šimuni itself is a fishing village on Pag's southwestern coast, between Pag town and Novalja. Its cove contains an ACI marina, while nearby beaches offer places for swimming and walking. Fishing boats returning to shore remain part of the village's daily character. A visit to Didova kuća can therefore sit naturally within an outing that combines the harbour, the beach and a meal rooted in the island's household cooking.

Restaurant Labirint

Rab · Mediterranean · Steak and grill · Fish and seafood

Example photo of the cuisine — not photographed at this venue Nadin Sh / Pexels

Srednja ulica 9, 51280 Rab

+38551771145

Labirint brings a family restaurant into one of Rab's old-town corners. The Pičuljan family took over the former inn in 1979 and introduced the Labirint name in 1981. Both the dead-end lane and the layout of the terrace explain the name, giving this address a character quite different from an open waterfront dining room. The kitchen keeps a strong connection to island cooking. Fish from local fishermen sits alongside octopus, anchovies, salted fish, shellfish and crustaceans. A particularly local dish to ask about is rapski gusti ujušak, Rab's thick fish soup. Olive oil, vegetables and herbs accompany the seafood, while the drinks selection includes house wines and bottled wines. Meat has its own place here, including the King Tomislav platter and beef tartare prepared at the table. The two dining spaces also offer different settings: the terrace has stone walls and a well, while the interior recalls an older island tavern with its fireplace and peka. Choose according to the weather and the kind of evening you have in mind. Find Labirint at Srednja ulica 9, within the old town, so a meal can fit around time spent exploring on foot. Telephone +385 51 771 145 to arrange a table or ask what is available that day. Service is split between lunch and dinner, with an afternoon break, making the timing worth checking before a spontaneous visit.

Ulica biskupa Draga 3, 51280 Rab

+38551725887

Mon–Sun 10:00–00:00

Konoba Riva has welcomed diners in Rab's old town since 1998. Traditional coastal cooking, a terrace and the surrounding stone streets give it a clear island setting. Its fairly broad menu makes it a useful option when a group wants seafood, grilled meat and a few straightforward vegetarian choices at the same table. For fish lovers, the Riva platter combines fish, squid and prawns for two people. Individual dishes range from sea-bass or sea-bream fillets with chard to grilled tuna, mussels buzara-style and squid risotto. Seafood spaghetti is another option, while octopus prepared with tomatoes and spices offers a different texture and sauce. Starters include octopus carpaccio, salted fish, Dalmatian ham and Pag sheep's cheese. The menu also has a dedicated vegetarian section with vegetable risotto, tomato pasta and fried courgettes. Children have smaller chicken, pasta and grilled-meat dishes. Those choosing meat can look towards grilled skewers, steak or a mixed platter. Rab cake, walnut pancakes and ice cream are among the desserts, so there are several ways to finish without ordering the same thing around the table. Reservations are taken by telephone, which is also the route for discussing the restaurant's food delivery to the marina. That service may suit guests spending the evening aboard a boat; confirm the delivery point and timing when ordering. Diners visiting in person should use Ulica biskupa Draga 3. Card payment is accepted, and the published daily hours run from late morning to midnight.

Obala kralja Petra Krešimira IV 6, 51280 Rab

+38551724183

Šanpjer combines a family fish shop and a seafood tavern on Rab's waterfront promenade. The restaurant began welcoming guests in 1997, and the connection between the fish counter and the kitchen remains central to its identity. Wooden tables and benches sit outside beneath an awning and palms, placing the meal alongside the activity of the old-town harbour. Fish and shellfish guide the menu. Grilled sea bass or sea bream, fried or grilled squid, scampi and mussels offer several ways to build a seafood lunch. The house Šanpjer platter is designed for two, bringing fish, squid, scampi and shellfish together with chard and potatoes. It is a useful order when two diners want to share a broader selection. There are also seafood pastas, fish soup and risottos, including a black risotto. Smaller starters such as marinated anchovies offer another route into the meal before a main course. To finish, the menu includes Rab cake, ice cream and pancakes with sweet fillings. Ask which fish and shellfish are available on the day before deciding on a particular plate. The local tourism board lists a season from April through October, so check directly before visiting near either end of that period. It also identifies the venue as suitable for children and welcoming to dogs. A telephone reservation is sensible for a waterfront table, especially if you are planning the meal around an old-town outing.

Example photo of the cuisine — not photographed at this venue Valeria Boltneva / Pexels

Palit 71, 51280 Palit

+38551774855

Velum in Palit offers a broad introduction to Rab's cooking, with island recipes alongside Mediterranean fish, pasta and meat dishes. Its name means sail in Latin, an appropriate starting point for a restaurant whose menu draws so much from the surrounding sea. Unlike many island addresses, Velum welcomes guests throughout the year. Seafood choices include grilled fish, shellfish prepared buzara-style and black cuttlefish risotto. Pasta takes several forms, from fuži with scampi and truffle to spaghetti with clams. For a more distinctly local order, ask about štokalj, dried octopus tentacles served with eggs. The kitchen also lists traditional dishes that require an advance arrangement, including octopus under the peka and rapska grota, beef filled with prosciutto and cheese in a dark sauce. There is enough choice for a table that does not share one appetite. Vegetarian options include mushroom and courgette pasta, four-cheese gnocchi and a vegetable plate with fried cheese. Meat dishes and smaller children's meals provide alternatives to seafood. Desserts include warm chocolate cake and cheesecake, giving the meal a different finishing note from the savoury island specialities. An outdoor seating area, parking and takeaway make Velum practical for different kinds of holiday day. Reserve directly if you want a particular traditional dish, since the dishes prepared by arrangement need more planning than a spontaneous lunch. When arriving early or late, check kitchen hours as well as the restaurant's published opening times.

Restaurant Amico

Kninska 1, 23233 Privlaka

+38523367583

Restaurant Amico is on Kninska 1 in Privlaka and dates its establishment to 1990. Its Italian and Mediterranean description is backed by a menu with a particularly strong seafood selection, alongside pasta, grilled meats and desserts. Outdoor seating, guest parking and takeaway are all listed by the restaurant, making it a flexible option for a coastal lunch or an evening meal. The most distinctive choices connect directly with Privlaka's cooking. The published menu includes marinated cuttlefish in the local style, cuttlefish with chickpeas and fish stew. Other seafood dishes range from grilled octopus and tuna steak to mussels prepared buzara-style. A fish platter for two brings several kinds of seafood together, so it is worth asking the team which fish and shellfish are available before deciding. Pasta and smaller dishes offer another way to build a meal. The menu lists gnudi with scampi, pljukanci with beefsteak, black risotto and four-cheese gnocchi. A bruschetta with šokol, mozzarella and pesto introduces a regional cured meat, while salads provide lighter combinations. Guests who prefer meat can look at the grill selection rather than assuming this is exclusively a fish restaurant. The restaurant accepts table enquiries directly and also advertises private celebrations. For advance plans, confirm current service hours, the day's menu and any dietary requirements with the team. The public menu remains useful for understanding the kitchen's range, but exact prices and daily availability should be checked at the time of your visit.

Mon–Sun 10:00–23:00

Restoran Dubašnica is on Novo Naselje in Malinska, with a Croatian kitchen, a terrace and an air conditioned dining room. The combination gives guests a choice between eating outside in warm weather and settling indoors for a meal. Its cooking includes local dishes, pizza and vegetarian specialties, so a table can bring together people with different tastes without making everyone choose the same style of food. Fresh fruit is another part of the offer, whether eaten between meals or at the end. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner and also prepares food to take away, a useful option for visitors staying in a nearby apartment or holiday home. Guests can reserve a table by telephone. For a larger gathering, the restaurant makes its rooms available for private celebrations and offers help arranging wedding receptions. Those occasions are planned directly with the team, allowing the visit to be organized around the people coming together. Practical facilities include free parking in front of the restaurant, an entrance without barriers and complimentary wireless internet. Pets are welcome, and there is a separate smoking area. For holidaymakers, these details make it possible to plan around more than the food alone: whether someone is bringing an animal, arriving by car or choosing between a shared restaurant meal and something to carry home. Dubašnica combines those everyday conveniences with the option of arranging a more personal celebration.

Obala 42, 51511 Malinska

+385989638412

Beleca Food&more sits on Obala in the center of Malinska, beside the marina. Its menu brings together Neapolitan pizza, burgers, meat and fish dishes, with coffee and cocktails alongside the food. Pizza starts with San Marzano tomatoes and fior di latte mozzarella. The Margherita adds basil, extra virgin olive oil and Grana Padano, while the Capricciosa brings cooked ham, mushrooms, oregano and Kalamata olives. There is also a substantial choice beyond pizza. Beef tagliata comes sliced with arugula, cherry tomatoes, Grana Padano and balsamic vinegar. A classic beef burger combines lettuce, tomato, caramelized onion and burger sauce in a brioche bun, with a cheeseburger variation for those who want it. A vegetable burger offers another direction, using tomato, lettuce, arugula and pesto. Grilled sea bass or gilthead bream fillet is paired with grilled vegetables, olive oil and lemon, while chicken is filled with prosciutto and cheese and served with a creamy mushroom sauce. Starters include steak tartare with toast and butter, a platter of prosciutto and cheeses, and burrata with arugula and tomatoes. For something smaller, there is focaccia with burrata, mortadella and pistachio pesto. Desserts include cakes, a lava cake and a sweet pizza. Espresso, cappuccino and iced coffee give the drinks menu a familiar coffeehouse side; cocktails range from a Negroni to a Mojito. The waterfront location makes Beleca an option for a meal with friends or a drink beside the marina.

Bistro Bukarica

Malinska · Steak and grill · Fish and seafood · Vegetarian

Nikole Tesle 61, 51511 Malinska

+38551859022

Bistro Bukarica occupies the address of an older Malinska tavern on Nikole Tesle. A new team remodeled the premises in 2012, keeping a connection with coastal cooking while developing a more contemporary approach. A partly open kitchen makes the preparation part of the dining room, and the cooking follows seasonal ingredients from regional producers. The kitchen also invites guests to discuss a special menu in advance, including a meal arranged for a particular occasion. One of its distinctive preparations is meat served on a hot volcanic stone. Guests finish their own steak at the table, choosing how far to cook it, with accompaniments and sauces that can be adapted. Regional cheese and prosciutto provide another starting point; the selection varies because the producers work in limited quantities. Handmade pasta is a substantial part of the offer, ranging from island šurlice to ravioli and tortellini. Seafood dishes sit alongside these preparations, and vegetarian choices include peppers filled with couscous. The bistro's history and its modern kitchen give it two overlapping identities: a place connected to the island's familiar food and a restaurant willing to reinterpret it. This makes it a useful choice for a party whose members want different kinds of meal. Rather than choosing solely between fish and meat, guests can build a visit around pasta, a regional starter or the interactive steak preparation. Contacting the team beforehand is the practical way to discuss a tailored menu.

Guests who prefer a buffet can choose from soups, salads, meat and fish, side dishes, pizzas, fruit and homemade cakes. This service is available to visitors as well as guests staying on half-board, without an advance reservation. D10’s Pizza Fantasista

Pag · Pizza · Vegetarian · Lunch

Prosika 51A, 23250 Pag

+385955011065

D10’s Pizza Fantasista brings a football theme to a beachside pizzeria on Prosika in Pag. Co-founders Ivan Šetka and Martina Bušić present it as an informal gathering place, with music, matches and tables for people arriving from the beach or meeting friends over a meal. The cooking centers on Neapolitan pizza, with ruota di carro as the house style. Football names run through the menu, turning the pizza selection into a team sheet. Buffon’s Marinara combines tomato, garlic, oregano and olive oil, while Cafu’s Margherita adds mozzarella and basil to the tomato base. Both appear among the menu’s vegetarian choices, alongside Guardiola’s Cacio e Pepe. Other combinations move towards stronger flavors: Roberto Carlos’s Freekick brings together smoked provola, grilled eggplant and ’nduja on a yellow base, and Maldini’s Amatriciana uses yellow tomato, fior di latte, Amatriciana sauce and crisp guanciale. Ronaldo’s Marine Predator pairs tuna with red onion, chili and double mozzarella. The island has a place on the team too. Dalma combines an olive oil base with arugula, Dalmatian prosciutto, cherry tomatoes and Paški sir, giving Pag cheese a role among the Italian ingredients. Mo Salah’s Bresaola offers another cured meat combination, with beef, greens and tomato. Guests can eat at the restaurant or order takeaway. Reservations are accepted, and private groups can arrange tables together for birthdays, team meals and small celebrations. Group dining can follow a set menu or a succession of pizzas for sharing, with the arrangements discussed directly with the team.

DeSalt is a street-food restaurant and bar on Zadarska 1 in Nin. Established in 2021, the business focuses on its own burger combinations and house-made sauces. Takeaway and outdoor seating give visitors a choice between collecting a meal for their accommodation and staying for a casual lunch or dinner in town. The burger selection has several distinct directions. The Classic Beef Burger pairs Croatian beef with tomato, iceberg lettuce and the house sauce in a brioche bun. The DeSalt Gourmet version adds cabbage salad, caramelised onion and smoked bacon. Crazy Beekeeper uses cheddar and marinated cherry tomatoes, while Wild Dalmatian brings sheep's cheese and a hot chilli sauce into the combination. Chicken and fish have their own place on the menu. A grilled chicken sandwich includes smoked bacon, cheese and the DeSalt sauce, while the crunchy chicken version uses crispy fried chicken, pickles and melted cheese. A tuna-melt sandwich offers another alternative. These combinations are served with fries, making the sandwich section a full-meal option rather than simply a snack. The salad section broadens the choice further, with king prawn, tuna and grilled-chicken versions alongside a vegetable salad with chickpeas, sweetcorn and sheep's cheese. Check ingredients directly with the team if dietary requirements matter. The restaurant publishes telephone and email contacts for enquiries; confirm seasonal service and collection arrangements before travelling specifically for a meal. Restaurant Sokol sits just inside the old city walls of Nin, at Hrvatskog sabora 2. The Tartaro family traces the restaurant's history to 1951 and describes the present business as its third generation. It is a useful choice when a table wants Dalmatian dishes alongside familiar grilled meats and pizza, with several ways to put together a meal. The kitchen's introduction puts the Tartaro special, house pasta and house salad at the centre of its offer. It also highlights Steak Tartaro with pepper sauce, tomatoes and homemade bread. Fish is part of the restaurant's identity, while ćevapčići and mixed grilled meat platters provide another route through the menu. Ask which fish and house dishes are available for your visit. Pizza has a distinctive local connection here. The restaurant describes toppings that include shrimp, rocket and šokol, the cured pork speciality associated with Nin. This gives diners a choice between coastal ingredients and something particularly connected to the town. The broader pizza selection includes familiar tomato-and-cheese combinations, useful when different appetites need to be accommodated at the same table. The full menu is also useful for comparing ingredients before setting out with a group. Pizza is the most extensive part of the offer. Alongside Margherita, mushroom and vegetable combinations, the signature selection includes mortadella with pistachio and a Nin-inspired pizza with šokol, goat's cheese, dried tomatoes and truffle sauce. A shrimp combination adds another coastal option. There is room to choose a familiar topping or make a regional cured meat part of the meal. The burger section takes a similarly varied approach, with beef and cheddar, smoky bacon, an Italian combination and a truffle version. Chicken salads and a tuna-and-feta salad provide alternatives. Compare the listed ingredients when ordering, and ask the kitchen directly about allergies or substitutions rather than assuming that a particular combination can be changed. Nin's official visitor information places Mad Duck on Branimirova, making the street address a useful reference when arranging collection. Petra Zoranića 2, 23232 Nin

Aenona is a family konoba at Petra Zoranića 2 in Nin, with a stated tradition stretching back more than sixty years. Its cooking is grounded in Dalmatian recipes, and the offer is broad enough for a proper shared lunch or dinner: seafood, meat, risotto and pasta all appear on the restaurant's own menu. Seafood choices include black cuttlefish risotto, seafood spaghetti and green noodles with prawns. The fish section lists sea bream or sea bass, a fish platter for two, tuna steak and squid prepared on the grill. These are useful signposts when choosing the style of meal you want; the kitchen should confirm the fish and portions available on the day. For something especially connected to Nin, the restaurant highlights ninski šokol, a cured pork-neck speciality. It also offers traditional peka and spit-roasted dishes by prior arrangement. Those preparations deserve a conversation when booking: contact the restaurant to agree the dish and your party size, rather than arriving expecting an advance-order speciality to be ready. Aenona lists outdoor seating and takeaway, as well as private family and business gatherings. The published daily schedule runs from noon to late evening, with the same stated kitchen hours, but seasonal arrangements should be checked directly. This makes it possible to plan either a sit-down visit or a meal to collect. The full street address and the restaurant's own map are the best references for finding the entrance.

Konoba Bodulo is a Croatian and Mediterranean restaurant on Vangrada in Pag. Its cooking is presented around regional dishes and local food, with fresh bread and drinks accompanying a sit-down meal. The setting gives visitors a choice between a terrace in warm weather and an air-conditioned room indoors. That combination makes it a useful address for a meal in town whether you want to sit outside or take a break from the heat. Lunch and dinner are both part of the restaurant's offer. Tables can be requested directly by telephone or through an online reservation service, so guests can arrange their visit before setting out. The restaurant also prepares food to take away, allowing visitors staying in a holiday home to eat there instead of remaining at a table. Free parking is offered for customers arriving by car, and free wireless internet is available during a visit. Bodulo also takes part in the town's wider food culture. It appeared among the participating restaurants in the 2025 Pag na meniju programme, which brought island specialities and Dalmatian singing into local dining rooms. The programme connected restaurants, a wine and cheese bar, local producers and the town's hospitality school through a celebration of Pag's food traditions. For someone exploring the island through its restaurants, Bodulo offers a town address with a distinctly regional starting point.

Veli brig 20, 23250 Pag

Restaurant Belveder is at Hotel Belveder on Veli brig in Pag, with a terrace overlooking Pag Bay. The kitchen combines local dishes with international cooking, putting regional and seasonal ingredients at the centre of its approach. A meal might begin with the daily soup or an appetiser such as prawn tails prepared with rosemary and olive oil. Local Pag cheese is another starting point, alongside the house Belveder platter designed for two people. Main courses cover both meat and fish, followed by a sweet finish. The restaurant's emphasis on ingredients gives a clear thread to this varied menu, with the hotel highlighting the relationship between good cooking and the people who supply its produce. Guests can settle outside for the bay view or use the air-conditioned interior when they prefer shelter from the heat. Vegetarian dishes are available, and the sweet selection includes tiramisu and pastries. The adjoining summer bar adds cocktails to the setting. Free customer parking and wireless internet help make a visit straightforward, while takeaway is available for those who prefer to eat elsewhere. Tables can be reserved by telephone. Belveder also accepts arrangements for private celebrations and wedding receptions, making it an option for visitors planning a gathering as well as an ordinary restaurant meal. Card and contactless payments are accepted. The combination of a bay-facing terrace, a broad menu and facilities for celebrations gives the restaurant several different uses during a stay in Pag.

Trg Ruševac 4, 23206 Sukošan

+385993801802

Konoba Griblja occupies a traditional stone building on Trg Ruševac in Sukošan, close to the waterfront. The interior draws on Dalmatian household objects and handwork, while a fireplace and a summer terrace give the restaurant different settings through the seasons. The kitchen, associated with chef Braco Sanjin, brings a contemporary approach to regional ingredients and recipes. The menu gives seafood several distinct roles. A meal can begin with marinated Adriatic sardines, scampi pâté or tuna tartare. One especially characteristic dish is cuttlefish trisotto, combining barley, wheat and rice. Homemade tagliatelle with scampi, dried tomato and pistachio offers another route, while the fish section includes grilled squid, tuna steak and shellfish preparations. For a shared main course, ask about gregada, the fish stew offered for two. There are also meat dishes, including lamb chops and beef steak served with a varenik-based sauce, almond purée and grilled courgette. Dessert continues the regional thread with Dalmatian rožata; a dark-chocolate mousse with olive oil and sea salt provides a different finish. These dishes help you choose the style of meal before discussing current availability with the team. Griblja's wine selection reaches across Croatian regions. A separate small room is available for private dining, making advance contact useful for a family gathering or a more intimate group meal. When booking, confirm service times and whether you would prefer the terrace, main dining space or private room.

Tue–Fri 12:00–21:00; Sat 12:00–22:00; Sun 12:00–21:00

Rivica stands on Ribarska obala in Njivice, with a shaded terrace looking toward the small port. Its history begins in 1934, when Mare and Ivan opened a boarding house in what was then a fishing village. Their hospitality business developed through successive generations, including Ivica and Vera, into the restaurant presented today. The family story remains part of its identity, alongside a kitchen that combines regional tradition with contemporary techniques. The restaurant places Krk and Kvarner at the center of its cooking. It also acknowledges influences from Venetian cuisine and the former monarchy, reflecting the different traditions that have shaped this part of the Adriatic. Local ingredients and fish caught by local fishermen guide the seasonal menus. That approach makes the changing supply of produce and seafood part of the restaurant's character, rather than treating the menu as a fixed list throughout the year. Wine is another substantial element of the experience. The house brings together bottles from local and international cellars and emphasizes matching them with the food. Guests who enjoy understanding the connection between an island and its cooking can therefore approach the meal through both the plate and the glass. The setting suits a visit built around the harbor: sit down on the terrace, explore the current seasonal selection and allow time for the meal itself. Reservations can be requested directly, making it straightforward to plan a restaurant visit as part of a trip north from Malinska.

Rudina 10, 23206 Sukošan

Konoba Kod Guste is a Dalmatian restaurant on Rudina in the centre of Sukošan. Fish, shellfish, risotto and homemade pasta form a substantial part of its menu, with grilled meats alongside them. It is a useful address for exploring several familiar coastal preparations in one meal, whether the table wants seafood throughout or a mixture of fish and meat. The cold starters set out that regional approach clearly: octopus salad, salted sardines and marinated anchovies appear beside Dalmatian prosciutto and Pag cheese. In the pasta section, look for homemade makaruni with scampi or green noodles with monkfish. Risotto choices include scampi, seafood and black risotto, so the first course can be as important as the main dish. The seafood menu ranges from mussels and grilled or fried squid to sea-bass fillet and tuna steak. Scampi are offered grilled or prepared buzara-style. Meat choices include beef steak, T-bone steak, veal and pork chops, and grilled turkey. Swiss chard, boiled potatoes and grilled vegetables appear among the sides, allowing diners to build a meal around the preparation they prefer. For dessert, the menu lists rožata, panna cotta, pancakes and cake. Kod Guste also operates rooms, but restaurant enquiries go directly to the business at Rudina 10. Contact the team to check the day's fish, current service hours and table availability. If you are planning a meal around a particular homemade pasta or seafood dish, mention it when booking so the kitchen can confirm what is available.

Fish, homemade pasta and Croatian wines are central to the restaurant's identity. The menu is broad enough for a leisurely seafood meal, a plate of pasta or a family table with different preferences. Starters include sea-bass carpaccio, tuna tartare, octopus salad and cuttlefish arancini. Among the pasta dishes, pljukanci appear with scampi and clams, truffles or porcini. Black risotto and a seasonal vegetable risotto offer alternatives. For a main course, the restaurant lists grilled sea bream, tuna, squid and octopus, alongside shellfish prepared buzara-style and a fish platter for two. Meat dishes include lamb chops, veal chop and Dalmatian pašticada. A separate children's selection lists breaded chicken and spaghetti bolognese. Desserts include homemade panna cotta, cake, chocolate soufflé and pancakes, giving the table several ways to finish without committing to a set menu. The wine list is especially useful for exploring Croatia by the glass or bottle. It includes Dalmatian Pošip and Maraština, Istrian Malvazija, reds from the Benkovac area, and bottles from Slavonia and the Croatian Uplands. Ask the team which suits your chosen dish and preferred style. For a terrace table or a meal built around fresh fish, contact the restaurant in advance and confirm the day's availability.

Restaurant Joso overlooks Zlatna Luka bay in Sukošan, beside the Adriatic road. The family business describes more than twenty-five years of restaurant tradition, with a menu built around Dalmatian cooking, grilled fish and meat, and pizza. Its terrace faces the sea, Marina Dalmacija and the Zadar Channel, giving the meal a clear connection to this stretch of coast. Fish is a particular reason to look at the day's choices. The restaurant works with local fishermen and explains that its fresh-fish selection depends on their catch. Ask the team what is available and how it will be prepared before settling on a dish. Guests who prefer meat can choose from the grill, so a shared table does not have to follow an exclusively seafood menu. Pizza is another established part of the offer, baked in a wood-fired bread oven. That makes Joso useful when some diners want a straightforward pizza while others want a fuller Dalmatian meal. The restaurant has both an indoor dining room and a sea-facing terrace, allowing you to discuss the setting you prefer when booking. Joso forms part of the hotel of the same name at Dr. Franje Tuđmana 117. Guest parking is available in front of the building. Its published opening span runs from early morning until late evening; contact the restaurant about the service you want, current fish availability and a table on the terrace.

Restoran Veseljak is a longstanding Sukošan address on Dr. Franje Tuđmana 161. The municipality's destination plan dates the business to 1964 and identifies it as a restaurant operating throughout the year. That history makes it a useful place to consider beyond a brief summer visit, while the restaurant's own information focuses on practical choices for lunch, dinner and a stop for something sweet. The restaurant advertises vegetarian options as well as pancakes and other desserts. Contact the team for the current main-course selection if you are planning a meal around a particular dish or dietary requirement. Pancakes provide a clearly identified option for a smaller visit, and the restaurant also offers takeaway for guests who prefer to eat at their accommodation. Outdoor seating gives another way to enjoy a meal, while the indoor space is air-conditioned. Parking and Wi-Fi are listed among the facilities. The restaurant welcomes pets, which may be useful when arranging a meal with a dog; mention this when enquiring so the team can advise on a suitable table. Veseljak publishes Monday-to-Saturday hours from early morning into the evening and lists Sunday as closed. For a visit outside the main holiday season, confirm the day's service directly before travelling. The phone and email connect to the restaurant itself, so you can ask about the kitchen's current offer, takeaway collection and seating in one conversation. Use the full street address when navigating, particularly if arriving from outside Sukošan.

Konoba Zora

Dobrinj · Fish and seafood · Takes reservations

Dobrinj 71, 51514 Dobrinj

+38551848250

Konoba Zora is in the heart of Dobrinj, where the island's inland streets and old stone surroundings provide a different setting from the coastal resorts. The tavern traces its beginnings to an inn opened by Nikola Fugošić in 1947. Two years later, his son Nikola married the cook Zora, and the couple took over the business. Her name became the restaurant's name, and her work helped make the island's šurlice familiar beyond Krk. Handmade pasta remains the clearest introduction to the kitchen. The house recommends šurlice with goulash, alongside Dobrinj makaruni and gnocchi with the same hearty accompaniment. Another preparation pairs šurlice with a scampi sauce, connecting the inland tavern's pasta tradition with the surrounding Adriatic. These dishes make the restaurant particularly relevant to visitors who want to explore the food associated with the island itself. For dessert, the house prepares presnoc, a traditional island sweet made with local sheep's cheese. The kitchen describes following an old recipe as a way of respecting the past. That attention to continuity links the dessert to the family history behind the restaurant. Stone walls and wooden benches contribute to the atmosphere described by the house. A meal here can be combined with a walk through Dobrinj's narrow streets and a visit to the church of Saint Stephen. Table requests go through a reservation form or the restaurant's telephone, so guests can arrange their visit directly before setting out from Malinska.

Restoran Đardin stands on Na Mulu in Tkon, on the island of Pašman. Its sea facing terrace and indoor dining area offer two different settings for a meal, and an enclosed seating section adds another option within the restaurant. The menu moves between Adriatic ingredients, pasta and familiar international dishes. Cold starters include Dalmatian prosciutto and mixed cheeses, alongside a seafood selection with marinated anchovies, octopus, prawns, tuna tartare and fish pâté. A separate house platter combines cured ham, cheese and beef carpaccio with fig cream, olives and tomatoes. Pasta is particularly varied. Handmade paccheri pair prawns with dried tomatoes and pistachio cream, while other choices include tagliatelle with salmon and gorgonzola or pljukanci with beef. Homemade black cuttlefish gnocchi come with prawns and white wine; another gnocchi dish combines chicken and spinach and is finished in the bread oven. Risottos include black cuttlefish, vegetables, and a prawn version with citrus and herbs. The fish section offers grilled bream, tuna steak, fresh fish fillet and calamari, with Swiss chard and potatoes appearing as accompaniments. Prawns baked with polenta and mussels prepared as buzara continue the coastal theme. Guests can reserve a table directly with the restaurant. Đardin also takes delivery orders by telephone for Tkon, Ugrinić and Kraj, giving people staying in those settlements another way to enjoy its cooking. For a visit from Biograd, its island location is part of the outing rather than a mainland restaurant stop.

Restaurant Stari Grad serves Dalmatian food on Grgura Ninskog in Biograd na Moru. Its menu brings together cured meats and island cheese, seafood, grilled meat and dishes cooked beneath the peka bell. Dalmatian prosciutto and Pag cheese provide a regional starting point, while octopus carpaccio, prawn carpaccio and octopus salad offer alternatives from the sea. Warm starters include seafood risotto, black cuttlefish risotto and pasta with prawns or smoked salmon. Fish dishes range from grilled sea bass and gilthead bream to tuna steak, stuffed calamari and mussels prepared as buzara. Platters for two make it possible to share a broader selection. The grill section includes ćevapi, pljeskavica, pork skewers and chicken, alongside a separate selection of steaks. The house beefsteak incorporates prosciutto and cheese, while the Stari Grad platter brings together beef fillet, rump steak, chicken and lamb chop. Peka is a specialty: veal, lamb or octopus are slowly cooked with vegetables and herbs beneath the bell. These dishes require an order at least one day ahead. Children have their own section, including small ćevapčići, fish sticks and breaded chicken. Homemade cakes and pancakes with ice cream round out the food. Outdoor seating gives diners another setting, and the restaurant offers Wi-Fi. The menu is also available for takeaway, so a meal can be collected to eat elsewhere. The waterfront is only a short distance away, and the restaurant welcomes people who are staying elsewhere as well as hotel guests. Its cooking combines Mediterranean and Croatian dishes with Austrian influences, giving the menu a broader range than the pizzeria name alone might suggest. Pizza comes from a wood oven, while homemade pasta and seasonal ingredients form another part of the kitchen's identity. The terrace offers an outdoor setting close to the sea; an air conditioned interior provides an alternative when the weather makes sitting outside less appealing. Guests can choose a full meal or something simpler, with fresh bread and ice cream among the other offerings. A buffet is also available. Vegetarian and vegan dishes are part of the selection, and the kitchen offers gluten free choices. This makes the restaurant a practical possibility for a group whose members want different kinds of food. Tables can be reserved online, and takeaway orders provide an alternative to eating on the premises. Dogs are welcome, and the restaurant describes its premises as accessible. Wi-Fi is available to diners. The house also accommodates private celebrations and wedding receptions, with arrangements made directly with the team. The restaurant belongs to the same property as the family's rooms and apartments, with Iza Banja Beach nearby. Charcoal grilling and a wood fired bread oven are two of the cooking methods that define the offer. Alongside ordinary restaurant visits, Pikolo hosts family occasions. Birthdays, baptisms, first communions and confirmations are among the celebrations the family welcomes, with direct contact offered for arranging an event. The outdoor areas offer a choice between sunshine and shelter, while a separate room can accommodate up to forty guests. A children's play area is part of the garden setting, and the restaurant also caters for private celebrations and wedding receptions. Restaurant Schlosserwirt

Mering · German home cooking · Breakfast · Dinner

Münchener Straße 29, 86415 Mering

+49 8233 7478544

Restaurant Schlosserwirt occupies a longstanding inn on Münchener Straße in Mering, now connected to the family's hotel and boarding house. The building began as an inn in 1901, and the Bader family took it over in 1928. A butcher's shop and a neighbouring cinema later became part of its story; the cinema site was eventually redeveloped into the hotel and linked to the original Schlosserwirt. Today the restaurant combines that history with a modern approach to Bavarian cooking. The kitchen works with a compact menu that changes, using fresh regional and seasonal ingredients and placing particular emphasis on sustainability. Bavarian classics are reinterpreted rather than treated as a fixed list of dishes. A carefully chosen wine selection accompanies the food. Breakfast is also part of the restaurant's identity, and guests can visit without staying overnight in the hotel. Sweet and savoury choices feature in the breakfast buffet, while the restaurant also presents a table brunch under the name Gläschenliebe. Its evening programme includes sociable Stammtisch meals with cordon bleu for sharing and other favourite dishes. Selected events offer a Bavarian buffet with a large salad bar. Private celebrations and catering are arranged individually, either within the house or at an outside venue. The hotel also has seminar facilities, making the restaurant part of a broader setting for business gatherings and family occasions. For visitors, the appeal lies in the combination of an established Mering address, a family history spanning generations and a kitchen that keeps adapting its regional foundations.

The restaurant describes a family atmosphere and pairs its cooking with a selection of wines.
