Le Globe-Trotter
Saint-Malo

Le Globe-Trotter is a small restaurant in the heart of the Cité d'Alet, between the Solidor tower and the Bas-Sablons beach, and its name is the menu: dishes gathered from journeys, cooked with what the Breton markets offer. A Thai curry can follow a Breton fish tartare, a tagine a plate of grilled prawns, and the card changes often enough that regulars find something new each visit.
At midday there are set lunch formulas between about €15 and €22, which makes it one of the better-value sit-down lunches on this side of the harbour. The terrace is sheltered and there is room for families; evenings are calmer than in the walled town.
